Students are required to complete a practical component as part of this course. You will need to log a total of 160 hours of work experience, spread over at least 20 shifts, in an industry that’s relevant to the qualification.
Work experience could include:

- Involvement in a practical venture at the student's school
- Hours worked at an existing part-time job
- Placement with a local business.
This is a chance for you to get valuable, real-world experience, putting into practice the knowledge learned throughout the course.
